Sunset Reflections.... by LadyAliceofOz Sunset Reflections.... by LadyAliceofOz
:squee: Last week when I was down on the beach... in Mexico Beach, Florida... I was enjoying the :sun: and grabbing a few shells :woohoo: while we waited for the sunset :relax: ...when I started to reach for the prettiest shell I'd seen that evening... and realized that the :sun: rays were reflecting off it! So I shot first :camera: ...then grabbed! :XD:

Dedicated to my new friend Tris :iconpinedrop: ~Pinedrop who is also a beach comber :iconcheerplz:

:whisper: btw, Tris my new grabber from Amazon =>> [link] worked incredibly well  ...and prevented the "Sanibel Stoop" that all of us beachcombers know so well! :D

Wow! Thank you so much, Alice, for thinking of me... and you could not have picked a more appropriate photo. Seriously. I love scallop shells!!!!!!!! Especially with those last rays of sun, it's perfection. :-)

I think beachcombers are a special breed. Possibly a bit crazy, but in a good way. :-)

Yes, that's it! If we didn't "rescue" them, they would just bleach out and lose their beauty. It's a great service we perform. :-)

Very very pretty shell and picture, Alice. I can see how these might look like skyrat poop :o

:giggle:  it's not scallops that look like skyrat :poo: ...it's the little "jingles"... :hmm:  ...trying to think if I have a picture that shows what a jingle looks like  :ohmygod: Google search! :#1: Okies  this is what a jingle looks like ==> [link]

Thanks for the :iconplusfav: John! :iconkissmote: it would be my extreme pleasure :eager: to show you all the types of shells that you can find at Mexico Beach! :woohoo::iconvacationplz:
