The weather in North Carolina on Thursday, the 6th of March, was and absolutely beautiful and warm enough to be outside without a jacket so, the 4 of us (my sweet hubby =TThealer and I, along with our daughter =LadyBlacksword and her fiance *FlipWardDragon) went to see the Orchid Conservatory, and the rest of the grounds, at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, North Carolina.

This orchid was part of the Cascade Wall inside the Orchid Conservatory. I had to be patient, in order to get this shot, due to an extensive misting system, that runs periodically in the building; you had to be ready to protect your lens at a moment's notice
