Thank you! and thanks for the :+fav:, too!
Yes, we used to have some moonflowers that were quite beautiful - but they smelled absolutely awful :omg: but, the smell is to attract the insects that cannot see them in the dark  so I guess it is necessary :giggle:
And, did you know that they are poisonous? :O

Beautiful flowers! Love the color! But they don't look like a rose. Do they have thorns? :)

 they are not a "rose"....... here's a link from Wikipedia [link] as I was having trouble trying to think how to explain them to you. They come in various shades of colors, and the one I photographed is brighter pink than my other two large ones. They are easy to take "starts" from...... but, it is a bizarre sort of harvest..... since everything about them is poisonous, you have to wear gloves...... make the cuttings with a razor blade.... and here's the strangest part..... you must let the cuttings dry out for several days, before putting them in soil, or they will not root!

Oh, I see now. Thanks for the information. I had never seen one before. Looks great but a bit dangerous if kids gets there hands on them?

Absolutely! And you have to watch out for pets that like to chew them! I would have never had them when my daughter was very young..... but, it is one of the advantages of being an "empty nester"... and our cat is too lazy to :chew: :evillaugh:

They make great pot plants, under the grow light inside in the winter months, then outside in the heat on the patio during the summer! :excited:

Yes it can be exiting when a plant get's his first flowers. You must have been taking good care of it. "empty nester" and how does it feel? :)

 Certainly been trying to take care of them! :excited:

Empty nest syndrome is real!! It is absolutely horrible at first..... then it gets easier.... then as a couple you have to re-define who you are as a couple...... and figure out who you are NOW...... and grow again from there.... and learn to enjoy the NEW couple that you are! :excited:
It takes work, but it is worth it! :D
Then, you have to learn to be an adult friend to your adult child...... again, hard & tricky... but oh so worth the effort!

Sorry I don't know what did happen. I was commenting and .... Suddenly it was gone . The comment I mean. Sorry for my bad English. :blushes:
I know what you mean. My daughter is 26 and still at home but the relationship is already changing. You explained it very good. Now I know what I’m in for. :)

:glomp: Your English is just fine with me! I'm absolutely terrible at any languages, and sometimes have trouble with English!! So I am very impressed that you can write in more than one language..... I took 2 years of German in high school (it was "high" German, and so not very useful in real conversation, I found out later! :cries:)..... and I only remember a few words and phrases... and even those I probably wouldn't pronounce correctly!

Empty nesting is such an important time....... it can be a great moment (when it is all over)... or it can completely destroy relationships..... so when you want to scream.... count your blessings instead, and hug, and be very patient...... good things come to those who wait!
