FULL VIEW FOR MAXIMUM SHINE!!

Our very first iris bloom for 2009!!

This early blooming iris, called "Bottled Sunshine" was hybridized by a gentleman named Hooker Nichols, a close friend from my college days... a very long time ago... in a galaxy, far far away

With the gray skies and copious amounts of that are coming down right now... it is very appropriately named... for it is now inside and spreading shine in the kitchen!

_{BOTTLED SUNSHINE (H. Nichols 1995) Hans & Jacob Sass Medal winner for 2003. This the top award for an IB (Intermediate Bearded) iris variety. Description: Bottled Sunshine is a vigorous yellow with a white center in the falls. It is about 22” tall, and blooms late March through mid April depending on the area. Previous awards: HM 1997, AM 2001.
